10. What training and qualifications do your staff have?

The training provided to staff will vary depending on the size or type of organisation and the service it provides. You may wish to ask if the organisation ensures its staff have had (as a minimum):

• Health and safety training
• Safeguarding/child protection training
• Other relevant training, for example around equality and diversity, mental health or deaf awareness.
• You may also want to ask what makes them the appropriate experts.
