Advice and Guidance Officers
Our Advice and Guidance Officers can give one-to-one advice and guidance on a range of topics including education, communication, social care, discrimination, independence and welfare benefits. They are based around the UK, so they know your local area’s support services and offerings.
Our officers support hundreds of deaf children, young people and their families each year and reach many more through our local work with a range of community groups.
Contact an Advice and Guidance Officer
You can contact our Freephone Helpline who may be able to answer your questions. If you need more specialist advice, they will refer to you an Advice and Guidance Officer. You will need to become a member before an Advice and Guidance Officer can help you – membership is free, and our Helpline can help you register.
You may also see an Advice and Guidance Officer in settings such as meetings, events, schools, your local deaf children’s society events and at audiology clinics.
