Resources for Deaf Awareness Week
Deaf Awareness Week is a great opportunity to share resources and information with your families.
You can also run your own campaign during the week to raise awareness with family, friends and in your local community.

Free postcards, posters and flyers
Our postcards, posters and flyers can be a great way of raising deaf awareness at your events. Use the links below to order copies or download resources to print yourself.
These are free, and you can order multiple copies to share with your members and the general public.

Free deaf awareness online training
Everyone can access our free online deaf awareness training. Use this training to check your own deaf awareness as a committee or share it with your families. You can also send it to schools, GP surgeries, local libraries or leisure centres.
Deaf awareness in committees
Deaf awareness is really important if you have a deaf committee member on the team. It can help to remind people at the start of every meeting of some basic deaf awareness. Do take turns to speak and check in with your deaf colleague regularly.

Our Making activities deaf friendly page has information, advice and tips on making football, swimming, music and the arts more accessible to deaf children and young people.
It’s useful reading for groups who are planning events, and can also be shared with other organisations such as leisure centres, sports clubs or schools.
