The Adolescent Anger Rating Scale (AARS) is a measure to assess the level and type of teenage response to anger. It focuses on the intensity and frequency of anger expression.

How is it used?
On four-point response scales, young people indicate what kind of behaviours they exhibit and how often each behaviour occurs. When used with individuals, the take takes 5–10 minutes, or 10–20 minutes when used in a group.
What can it tell us?
The AARS provides raw scores, percentiles and T scores. The scores can be compared with those of hearing peers of the same age.
